Forming part of the mixed development on Hawkhill, aim were commissioned to create a contemporary Mediterranean restaurant over two levels of the lower ground and ground floor of the Hawkhill Tower.
The ground floor contains three areas of bar lounge, cover area (dining) and kitchen.
The bar is as much a function for the restaurant as an advert to the street finished in white glass with a large internally illuminated section. The dining area is a palate of simple stone and rosewood, and enjoys 180˚ views of the vibrant Hawkhill. The kitchen is open to the dining area with the main focus on a live flame oven central to the dining area.

The lower ground contains restaurant toilets, support kitchen and ancillary management facilities.
Byzantium promotes a fine dining experience openly onto Dundee’s North West Cultural Quarter, and has quickly become the place to eat, carrying on the reputation of this long established eatery.
